Utilizing strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical thinking skills, the Professional Practice Leader will work in collaboration with the Manager and interdisciplinary teams to support and advance the goals of the Mental Health and Addictions Program (MHAP) and the Assault Care and Treatment Program (ACT)/Rapid Access Addictions Medicine Clinic (RAAM). This role champions trauma-informed, culturally safe, and survivor-centered care for individuals impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence and substance use disorders in Sioux Lookout and surrounding northern communities.
Operating primarily out of the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre, the ACT program includes outreach to remote First Nations communities and works with multiple partners to ensure compassionate and accessible care.
