Position Summary

Thales Canada is looking for a Naval Architect to support its Non‑Combatant In‑Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy. The AJISS Program Engineer – Naval Architect role will provide engineering services in support of the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ships (JSS) homeported in Halifax, Nova Scotia, including conducting surveys, technical investigations, researching ship staff queries, developing repair specifications and job instructions for preventive or corrective maintenance, and overseeing tests and trials. The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge of work package management and expertise in structural and marine system design to become a key contributor and technical lead within the AJISS East Coast Team.
