Job Overview

Schedule: Friday to Tuesday, start at 0700. Start times may vary based on freight volumes. Approximately 80% of driving is in city and 20% on highway.

Driver may occasionally need to sleep in the truck overnight. Driver assistance with loading and unloading is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive loads to Quebec City and surrounding area.
• Assist with loading and unloading.
• Ensure safe operation of the tractor‑trailer.
• Maintain appropriate logbooks and comply with regulations.

Requirements

• Owner‑Operator with at least 24 months tractor‑trailer experience.
• Valid Class1 or AZ license.
• Tractor equipped with DEF system.
• Must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
