Public Health Nurse III (Posting# )

This position is responsible for the Communicable Disease (CD) program which includes programmatic guidelines, investigation, surveillance, and reporting of communicable diseases following CDC and NC Communicable Branch guidelines. Serves as a resource for communicable diseases and participates in outbreak investigations with the agency and the community.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing, including a public health nursing rotation and two years of public health nursing experience; OR
• Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing with two years of professional nursing experience; OR
• Graduation from a school of professional nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, including two years of public health nursing experience.
