KEY FUNCTION

Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred oncology nursing care by applying advanced knowledge, clinicalexpertise, and ethical practice to support patients throughout their cancer journey.

REPORTING

Under the general direction of the Manager, Systemic Treatment.

DUTIES

1. Practice in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Nursing Practice.
2. Maintain and adhere to HSN policies, procedures and nursing standards.
3. Collaborate with medical professionals to assess patient health status (e.g., order, interpret, and evaluatediagnostic tests).
4. Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessionalteam to ensure continuity of care.
5. Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of care plans.
6. Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and revise care plans based on patient condition and responseto treatment.
