Responsibilities

• Implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the neighbourhood
• Notify physicians of significant changes in residents' conditions
• Coordinate nursing services with health care teams
• Supervise Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers
• Lead shift reports to keep the team informed of residents’ statuses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Proven experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Valuable standing with provincial registry
• Knowledge of relevant health acts and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
