Reporting to the Manager, Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for working in a dedicated capacity supporting both the South Bruce and Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). This role will be embedded in an OPP detachment within Grey and Bruce Counties (Wiarton, Chatsworth, Kincardine/Walkerton) and will respond with uniform officers to assist with de-escalation, community referrals, diversion, and appropriate facilitation of transition to acute care where required to help ensure positive outcomes for the individual.
