What You Will Be Doing:

• Providing nursing care to individuals with mental illness, concurrent disorders, and complex presentations
• Crisis assessment and de-escalation in institutional and community settings
• Supporting care coordination between facility staff, mental health providers, and the external community services
• Navigating consent under the Health Care Consent Act – working with patients who may lack capacity
• Maintaining clinical documentation in compliance with PHIPA
• Health promotion and patient education for individuals with mental health conditions
• Collaboration with correctional officers, youth workers, school staff, and community providers, as applicable ...
