We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Ontario Poison Centre as a Specialist in Poison Information (SPI).

Your Role as a Specialist in Poison Information

Following a comprehensive orientation, you will:

• Respond to poisoning and drug overdose calls involving both adult and pediatric exposures, providing timely, expert guidance over the phone.
• Perform thorough assessments on patients in both the home and hospital settings.
• Apply knowledge of toxicological principles to develop and adapt evidence‑based care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness in collaboration with inter‑professional teams of medical (or physician) toxicologists, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare providers.
