Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, compile and deliver training sessions for staff to assist them in meeting their key competencies in compliance with scope.

• Compile, implement and evaluate general and unit‑specific orientation and education programs for staff.

• Facilitate the development and ongoing maintenance of the department's preceptorship/mentorship programs.

• Participate in the ongoing review and revision of patient care standards, policies and procedures and coordinate in‑service programs aimed at meeting the continuing educational needs of staff.

Shift and Work Hours

Wednesday – Thursday with alternate Fridays, Days, 08:00 to 16:00.
