Operating Room Registered Nurse (Temporary Full‑Time)

Temporary full‑time Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room. The position requires your home unit to accommodate your temporary absence if successful.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients, including complex populations with unpredictable outcomes.
• Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team, practicing within the Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Apply the Philosophy of patient and family centered care, mission, vision, values, and the policies of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
• Use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate and provide consultation to Registered Practice Nurses when patients become unstable or outcomes are not as expected.
