Department: Regional Dementia Care Services - Oak Lodge

The Regional Dementia Care Program provides comprehensive specialized assessment and treatment of older adults (usually >65 years old) and/or adults with an age‑related dementia, which is complicated by behavioural and psychological symptoms, and/or medical comorbidities that exceed the capacity of the community, general hospital, complex continuing care and long‑term care system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge

• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) required (recent within the last twelve months)
• Current Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Certificate required
