Uptalent.io, a dynamic platform focused on connecting exceptional talent with innovative companies, is seeking a Remote Technology Designer specializing in Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems.
Responsibilities
Design and documentation of low voltage systems, including:
Structured cabling (voice/data networks)
Access control
Audio/visual (A/V)
CCTV / security systems
Wireless infrastructure
Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and IT teams.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and detailed layouts for low voltage systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, etc.).
Review submittals and support construction administration when required.
Qualifications
RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification preferred (not mandatory but highly valued).
5+ years of experience in technology systems design, ideally for commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
