As a Research Chemist, you will conduct research and development of new technologies.You will verify conceptual engineering designs, speed up product and process development, ensure process scale up, promote continuous improvement.You will report to S&T Product Development Supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities**- Reduction of formulation costs by guaranteeing, on-performance and on-cost delivery.
- Plant support: continuity of operation, adjustment of non-conforming batches, updating of formulas and specifications.
- New product/process development projects and optimization of existing products.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
**Qualifications**- Academic background: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Materials or related field is desirable.
- Technical proficiency in waterborne paint formulation.
