Duties

• Operating and maintaining equipment used in research and field activities.
• Assisting with planning, field set‑up, and seeding of trials.
• Handling chemicals throughout the season to control weeds, diseases, and insects.
• Harvesting trials in the fall using a combine.
• Supporting research assistants by taking field notes, assessing pest issues, and helping plan field activities.
• Assisting with sample collection, and organizing shipping and receiving of samples.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

• Education: Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
