Senior CET/Structural Engineer (on-site/Ottawa) Job Summary Salas O’Brien Canada is searching for an Intermediate or Senior CET/Structural Engineer to oversee a major construction project in Ottawa, acting as the crucial link between our client, designers and subtrades.

From 2026 to 2030, you will be a resident structural site engineer at the new Ottawa Civic Hospital, the largest research hospital in Canada, being built in downtown Ottawa.

In This Role, You Will

Establish a strong relationship with the client and communicate with both technical and management-level personnel

Perform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase. Circulate photographs and findings with design team and prepare site reports.

Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
