Job Purpose
- The Resolution and Tribunal Officer is responsible for managing Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) tribunal appeals, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and achieving timely, effective resolutions. The role involves coordinating mediations, representing the Local Authority (LA) at tribunal hearings, and working closely with key stakeholders to resolve disputes in the best interests of children and young people.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Manage a caseload of SEND tribunal appeals, ensuring all deadlines and statutory requirements are met.
