Job Summary

We seek a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide and coordinate psychiatric nursing care for patients experiencing serious mental health and bio‑psychosocial problems. The role involves conducting nursing assessments, crisis intervention, psycho‑education, and collaboration with an interprofessional care team to support recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of assigned clients, including physical and psychosocial assessments, monitoring of medical and psychiatric conditions, and psycho‑education for clients and support systems.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and documents psycho‑social rehabilitative plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; communicates changes to the team and physicians/psychiatrists.
