Responsibilities

• Provides support to the safety program, policy development and implementation.
• Provides general coordination and administrative support to the safety department.
• Liaises with the training department in developing safety‑related training materials and ensures they align with regulatory and safety program requirements.
• Provides communications for the programs and services within the Safety, Environment and Emergency Management department.
• Promotes the programs; responds to employee, management and other internal or external stakeholder inquiries and interprets policies, procedures and the collective agreement provisions.
• Supports and coordinates the implementation of incident investigation and audit compliance.
