Our client in the communications and power industry is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3 -month contract . This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring a hybrid work environment each week at their Georgetown office.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Lead balance sheet reconciliation cleanup, including historical data review, T-accounts, and documenting findings Support month-end activities, including journal entries, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, and reporting Work heavily in Excel and assist with ad hoc analysis, process improvement, and data mining Qualifications:
CPA Designated or currently in program, preferred Strong Senior Accountant profile with a mature technical accounting background Manufacturing experience required; JDE experience is a strong asset but not a hard must-have. Proactive, systems-savvy, and comfortable working in a very unstructured/start-up-like environment.
