Senior Environmental Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and culture.
• Provide consulting services in conjunction with environmental site assessment and remediation of sites and excess soils management (80% field, 20% office).
• Supervise drilling and excavation activities, collect soil, groundwater and air samples, complete hydrogeological studies including aquifer response tests, mentor junior staff, and prepare technical reports.
• Work in collaboration with members of the Environment team throughout Ontario.
• Participate in planning meetings.

Qualifications

• College or University Degree in Environmental Science/Geoscience or Engineering.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
