Overview

We are working with the Building Ontario Fund (BOF), a provincial Crown agency backed by $8 billion in seed funding, in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing Investment Legal team in Toronto. This is a unique opportunity to join BOF at an exciting stage of growth and play a lead role on complex, high-profile infrastructure financing transactions across the energy, transportation, affordable housing, long-term care, critical minerals, and municipal/community infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-house legal lead on sophisticated debt/equity financing of infrastructure and real estate transactions.
• Manage external counsel, negotiate complex bespoke agreements, and provide commercially minded advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
