Position Overview

Senior Claims Litigation provides expert legal and litigation support to Claims, other Munich Re Canada business units, and external clients. This role is responsible for delivering high quality legal advice, overseeing litigated claims, conducting litigation audits, identifying legal trends, and supporting sound claims decision making to mitigate risk and achieve optimal outcomes.

Your Role

Litigated Claims Management

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of litigated claims, ensuring timely review, documentation, and follow up in accordance with established service standards.
• Provide settlement concurrence, second opinions, and strategic guidance to clients and external business partners on appeals, settlement negotiations, legal billings, and regulatory developments.
