Senior Payroll Accounting and Reporting Analyst – Permanent Position, Business Services, Toronto District School Board.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, evaluate and analyse period-end posting results to various general ledger accounts and complete payroll account reconciliations for all Payroll General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for payroll.
• Develop effective processes for data collection, presenting and reporting on the data being analysed.
• Complete aging analyses and analysing variances.
• Support quality service initiatives and quality assurance testing.
• Supervise designated staff.
• Reconcile the Board’s payroll GL accounts, identify and conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and report findings to the Manager.
