Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Vice President, Finance to shape and execute the strategic, operational, and day-to-day direction of the Payroll function, including both departmental and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proactively identify payroll risks and opportunities, developing and implementing effective, forward-thinking solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and resolution of discrepancies or compliance concerns.
• Manage all payroll-related remittances, filings, and reconciliations on a monthly and annual basis in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accurate preparation and distribution of annual tax documentation (e.g., PIER, T4, T4A, ...
