About This Opportunity
Responsibilities - Define, document, and release assembly and manufacturing processes during product development, NPI, and line transfer
- Partner with Product Development Engineering to influence design decisions through DFM and DFA input
- Develop, standardize, and validate crimping processes including press and applicator setup parameters
- Execute and document crimp validation activities (crimp height, pull force, microsections)
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership during line ramp‑up and sustaining production
- Troubleshoot process‑related issues including crimp defects, deformation, gaps, and assembly variation
- Support cycle time optimization and line balancing from a process capability perspective
- Provide technical input and countermeasures to PFMEA and Control Plans
- Introduce fixtures, assembly jigs, and process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and repeatability
