Senior Project Engineer – Substation Group

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. Reports to the Project Manager. We are seeking a senior-level project engineer to support ongoing EPC projects, ensuring cost‑effective designs and procurement while providing engineering support throughout construction.

Travel

This position requires up to 25% travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as liaison and technical resource for all construction personnel on the project.
• Identify technical issues during construction and develop practical solutions collaboratively with the project team.
• Check specifications, drawings, and test reports to ensure high‑quality design.
• Implement and manage the Quality Plan, ensuring validity of documents and monitoring them.
• Prepare and maintain project scope documents, proposals, estimates, change notices, and budgets.
• Develop material and construction specifications.
