The Department of Community Health Sciences in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Senior Research Program Manager . This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 12 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The research program is one of the most substantial and nationally visible programs of its kind in Canada, with six active grants totaling $6.6 million from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Alberta Innovates, and the Canadian Cancer Society. The program operates across three integrated research streams—Child, Youth and Community Health; Health Systems and Cancer; and Precision Nutrition—and currently includes seven postdoctoral fellows, five graduate students, multiple research coordinators, an epidemiologist, and a Research Associate.
