The Sexual Assault Counsellor (SAC) is under the direction of the Shelter Director, or designate, of Anduhyaun Inc. The SAC is responsible for developing, implementing, delivering, managing, and evaluating programs for Anduhyaun’s shelter clients and Nekenaan Second Stage Housing tenants to ensure that they are supported in maintaining and growing in their cultural identity as Indigenous peoples. The goal of the SAC at Anduhyaun is to provide culturally-sensitive counselling for Indigenous individuals who have experienced sexual abuse and other trauma.
