Responsibilities

• Review and assess supplier’s airborne software and electronic hardware designs to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
• Review and assess suppliers’ airborne software and electronic hardware certification plans.
• Review and assess suppliers’ FPGA, ASIC, and PLD designs.
• Perform technical and process audits at supplier facilities.
• Conduct safety of flight reviews.
• Assess software and hardware test results, analyses and determine final compliance status.
• Lead resolution of safety, compliance, or technical deficiencies with suppliers and Bombardier stakeholders.
• Prepare and/or review design compliance reports.
