Security Specialist

Location: Gatineau, QC
Shift: Night (6 pm to 6 am) with rotating weekend shifts

Overview

A Security Specialist will report to the Security Supervisor and assist in the development and implementation of security procedures. The role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of security systems in accordance with Health Canada guidelines and regulations.

Job Description

• Assist the Security Manager and Supervisor in developing and implementing security procedures to meet Health Canada regulations.
• Conduct periodic system tests and inspections in collaboration with Facilities.
• Operate, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot security systems, including cameras and digital locks.
• Liaise with external suppliers for system maintenance, upgrades and installations.
