Renal and General Internal Medicine Specialty Doctor
Applications are invited for a substantive specialty doctor interested in joining our friendly department within Lanarkshire.
Core Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient renal services including procedures, dialysis, renal virtual ward activity and general medical resident on call activity.
Participate in continuing medical education, governance and departmental meetings.
Engage in quality improvement, patient safety (including human factors training), medical education, research & development and act as an appraiser as required.
Additional Opportunities
Proposals for additional SPA time are encouraged, particularly for individuals with well‑developed ideas for improving services.
Successful candidates may undertake more than the standard 1 PA for non‑DCC/SPA activities, subject to discussion with the recruitment lead and service manager.
