Position Summary
The Spiritual Care Coordinator supports the spiritual, emotional, and existential well-being of residents within the Long-Term Care and Retirement Home. The role provides inclusive spiritual care services to residents of diverse faiths, cultures, and belief systems and supports residents and families during illness, transition, and end-of-life.
The Spiritual Care Coordinator works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and is an active member of the Home's Palliative Care Committee. The role also recruits, coordinates, and supports spiritual care volunteers and community faith partners who provide services within the Home.
This position promotes a compassionate, resident-centred approach that honours dignity, meaning, and connection for residents and their families.
