POSITION SUMMARY
The SFA (Special Feature Authorization) Electrical Engineer will contribute to the design and release of customizations to chillers; will work in a cross‑functional development group; managing a variety of tasks and activities are required in this dynamic environment; solve complex problems where no precedence exists.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Create and revise unit wiring schematics and network connection drawings
- Create and review electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standards
- Create and revise wire harnesses
- Check and approve drawings and bill of materials
- Work with software team to develop and verify CRAC system controls
- Work with development scientist to validate setup of new electrical customizations
- Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changes
