Overview We are seeking a Full-Time remote Staff Lawyer to assist in our Pre-litigation department. Your day-to-day activities will vary, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities - Provide support to the department you are assigned with various tasks. (Pre-Litigation).
- Set up claims and follow up on coverage and policy limits.
- Draft LORs.
- Send Welcome Letters to clients.
- Relabeling file documents and securing clean client records.
- Order Police Reports.
- Request Med Pay.
- Disengagement letters to providers / clients (using template and with attorney approval).
- Order medical records & bills.
- Send medical referrals.
- Generate disbursement sheets.
- Send Open Records Requests to Police Department (using template) and Non-Spoliation Letter (using template).
- Handle case load (Cases with attorney supervision).
