The Sterile Supply Aide is responsible for collecting and delivering, cleaning, decontaminating, packaging, assembling and sterilizing instruments and supplies for the Surgical Suite and other user areas in the Agency.
What you’ll do
Wash, clean, decontaminate, checks, assembles and wraps or packages instruments, trays, sets and equipment for the Surgical Suite and other user departments in the Agency.Operate ultra-sonic washer, washer sterilizer, steam autoclave and related processing equipment.Monitor the cleaning and sterilizing process and records results; reports abnormalities to the supervisor.Pick instrument sets and supplies for operative procedures according to established guidelines.Maintain quota of unsterile and sterile supplies and equipment by restocking depleted supplies and reprocessing outdated sterile sets, bundles and supplie...
