Must be able to provide innovative packaging solutions in a timely manner. They must lead efforts to ensure the production facility can efficiently produce new designs while acting as packaging subject matter expert for the team.
Technical Skills and Responsibilities - Develop structural design solutions for paper-based packaging (folding carton, corrugated, rigid box). Experience with non-paper packaging materials a plus.
- Manage design projects and maintain effective communication to sales, customer service, and manufacturing.
- Occasionally (10%) engage directly with client, along with sales business development, as subject matter expert, to obtain project related information.
- Ensure new designs are created for optimum efficiency for production.
