Substitute Educational Assistants work under the supervision of a certified teacher who retains the responsibility for planning, instruction, supervision and evaluation of the students. As a casual employee you will be assist students in optimizing learning potential within a variety of educational settings. This support may include behavior management, curriculum implementation, social skills development, personal care and physical assistance. Substitute Educational Assistants are paid $19.94 per hour plus vacation pay. When filling temporary contracts, we give first consideration to our Substitute Educational Assistants.
