Job Summary

Supervisor, Bridges and Structures – Western Region is responsible for leading a team of employees and external contractors mandated with construction, modification and repair of railway structures across a designated territory. The incumbent is assigned a designated territory and periodically covers it based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering operations related to construction, modification and inspection of bridges and structures, and repair of railway structures.
• Oversee and plan engineering operations, including compliance with safe work procedures, Federal Railroad Administration guidelines and CN’s policies and procedures.
• Control budgets and workforce productivity within CN’s policies.
• Communicate bridge and structure conditions, daily production and inform senior management.
