About This Opportunity
Job Description - Lead and ensure the implementation, development, and maintenance of EHS programs, procedures, and policies in compliance with applicable legal, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations applicable to the operation.
- Supervise the administration and update of records as a hazardous waste and special handling waste generator.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and updating of Hazardous Waste and Special Handling Waste Management Plans.
- Evaluate and approve modifications to facilities, machinery, and equipment from an EHS and environmental compliance perspective.
- Oversee investigations of accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
