- Oversees the production process within the shift.
Ensures the following: - quality, cost, and other performance metrics are met or exceeded.
- Compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, systems and processes.
- Compliance to 5S and other Standard Operating Procedures.
- Continuous improvement of the overall production process.
- Assesses manufacturing operations staffing and skill requirements.
- Conducts on-going performance reviews and provides timely feedback.
- Participates and leads the team and Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Manages the manufacturing operation consistent with the company operating guidelines.
- Institutionalizes manufacturing Best Practice Tools and Processes.
