Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Unit Pathologist Assistants by assigning both post‑mortem and non‑post‑mortem tasks, developing work and on‑call schedules, monitoring attendance, coordinating time off and overtime within operational requirements, and providing input into performance appraisals and grievances.
• Provide technical expertise, guidance and training to Pathologist Assistants in handling complex cases and advise autopsy staff on biohazard concerns.
• Participate in Daily Morning Rounds, supplying background information for cases to be examined that day and describing post‑mortem findings from the previous day as required.
