We are seeking a Tax Manager for a leading global company in the retail sector. You will be the strategic lead for the tax function in Mexico, ensuring strict regulatory compliance and optimizing the tax burden within a dynamic international environment. Your role will be fundamental in risk mitigation and global financial reporting.
Core Responsibilities - Compliance Oversight: Supervise and ensure the accurate determination, reconciliation, and filing of all federal and local taxes (provisional payments, monthly and annual returns) for Mexican entities.
- Tax Recoveries: Lead the process for VAT refund and offset requests, efficiently managing interactions with the SAT (Mexican Tax Authority).
- Audit Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating responses to audits and inquiries from the SAT and external auditors.
