Description
Duties:
This is not a remote work position. Travel will be expected to all Southern Sector facilities.
·Teach classes to incarcerated individuals as assigned by direct supervisor using approved standards-based curriculum through both synchronous and asynchronous virtual programming.
·Develop standards-based curriculum and use that to create virtual classes using the APDS Learning Management System.
·Possess the skills to operate equipment used in the production of virtual education classes: including but not limited to, cameras, audio, lighting, computers, editing and production software, etc.
·May need to flex her/his work schedule in order to accommodate conference times with students beyond the typical school day.
·Demonstrate a comprehensive and current knowledge of DOC policies and procedures.
