Job Responsibilities

• Operates manufacturing machinery, inspecting and operating machining and finished products.
• Performs repair and maintenance of machine shop operations and inspects finished parts, tools and dies against specified tolerances.
• Reviews work orders and schedules resources.
• Monitors and adjusts machine shop tool/equipment setups, calibrations, and alignments as required.

Required Proficiencies

• Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
• Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Analyzes non‑routine problems to understand and resolve them.

Qualifications

Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools, obtained through extensive work experience; may require vocational or technical education.
