Job Summary
Facilities/Maintenance technicians operate and maintain facilities equipment including building controls, fire protection systems, heating‑ventilation‑and‑air‑conditioning (HVAC) and other utilities. They are responsible for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of utilities equipment, maintaining the physical structure of the establishment and general electrical systems on an industrial, cGMP regulated facility. Utilities equipment includes chillers, boilers, air handling units, exhaust ventilation, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, reheat, fire prevention, emergency power generators, water treatment, UPS and environmental control systems. Document all maintenance activities executed on the site computer maintenance management system (CMMS). The technicians perform maintenance, service, and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting and other building upkeep as needed.
