JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ontario Shores seeks a Registered Nurse 3 to join the Haliburton-Kawartha-Peterborough Regional Assertive Community Treatment Team (HKPR ACT), which has offices in Peterborough and Lindsay, Ontario. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of clinical issues in the area of mental health and addiction.

Job Details

In addition to doing mental health and physical assessments, responsibilities include:

• Participating as a mental health professional on a multidisciplinary team
• Providing assertive community treatment to clients with severe and persistent mental illness
• Providing client‑centred treatment rehabilitation and support to referred clients
• Reviewing referrals in consultation with the team to determine eligibility for the program
