Territorial Manager, Health, Safety and Emergency Preparedness
Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, the Territorial Manager oversees the Health, Safety and Emergency Preparedness Unit, ensuring a healthy, safe and secure environment for departmental staff, students, and other stakeholders within Nunavut’s education system.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Public Service Act, Safety Act, Education Act, Emergency Measures Act and related legislation, policies and directives.
- Maintain and promote the health, safety, security and well‑being of employees, workers, facilities, students and other relevant departmental stakeholders.
