Job Overview Plans and develops tools, dies, and specialized parts used in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities - Creating designs, converting designs to blueprints using computer-aided design software, and understanding complex schematics for building fixtures and new parts.
- Inspecting tools and dies for any damage or imperfections affecting functionality and conducting periodic testing of the tools and machines to ensure high efficiency.
- Solving problems regarding the production processes, machine settings, and fabrication methods and recommending modifications in the design and materials used.
- Manufacturing new stamping and molds, producing spare parts, creating dies, and repairing the dies, molds, and tools when required.
Qualifications Carrera tecnica y/o prepa terminada con cursos.
- Experiencia de 3 a 4 años como tool maker.
