Job Description

The Tooling Stress Engineer I supports the design and validation of manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures by assisting in structural analysis to ensure safety and operational integrity. This entry-level role involves performing static, stability, and lifting analyses on ground support equipment (GSE) and assembly tooling, applying foundational engineering principles to ensure tools can safely support and manipulate aerospace flight hardware.

Under the direct supervision of senior engineers, the candidate will contribute to the resolution of technical challenges related to tool deflection, load paths, and material selection. The engineer in this role adheres to established industry safety standards (such as ASME or OSHA), internal tooling procedures, and documentation practices while developing specialized analytical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.
